RETURN YOUR CALL UNTIL MONDAY AND THE NUMBER WILL BE


MANNED STARTING MONDAY TO TAKE YOUR CALLS.


ALL SUMP PUMPS MUST BE RUN OUTSIDE NOT INTO THE SEWER DRAIN. THE SEWER IS BEING OVER RUN WITH WATER AND HAS NOT GONE DOWN. DO NOT PUMP YOUR WASTE WATER INTO THE SEWER SYSTEM THIS WILL CAUSE IT TO BACK UP SOMEWHERE ELSE POSSIBLY INTO ONE OF YOUR NEIGHBORS HOMES. PLEASE LET EVERYONE KNOW NOT TO PUMP INTO THEIR DRAINS.



INGLEWOOD RESIDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO RETURN TO YOUR HOMES

TAKE PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGE BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE. THESE WILL BE NEEDED FOR ANY CLAIMS YOU WILL FILE WITH FEMA.

Fremont, Nebraska on Highway 77 is the
Village of Inglewood.

​​​​ 03.17.2019 NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO RETURN TO THEIR HOMES IN THE VILLAGE. CURRENTLY THE LIFT STATION SEWER PLANT HAS BEEN COMPROMISED AND IS NOT OPERABLE IN THE VILLAGE. 

  CHAIRMAN NIELSEN WAS ABLE TO TOUR THE VILLAGE THIS AFTERNOON AND HE MADE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT: "THE WATER HAS DRAMATICALLY GONE DOWN AND SHOULD RECEDE ENO UGH IN

  A COUPLE OF DAYS SO RESIDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO GET TO THEIR HOUSES AT THAT TIME. MOST OF THE DAMAGE LOOKS TO BE FROM THE WATER WITH VERY LITTLE STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. IT WILL TAKE

  AT LEAST A COUPLE DAYS TO GET THE LIFT STATION UP AND RUNNING AGAIN. THE VILLAGE HAS FILED THE INITIAL FORMS FOR FEMA FUNDS FOR PROPERTY OWNERS AND WILL HELP RESIDENTS

 OBTAIN AND FILE THE FORMS THEY WILL NEED FOR FINANCIAL HELP WHEN THE TIME COMES."

 03.18.2019 THE CLERK MET WITH NEMA REPRESENTATIVES MONDAYMORNING AND WAS TOLD THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
 WHEN RESIDENTS ARE ABLE TO RETURN TO THEIR PROPERTY THEY  SHOULD TAKE MULTIPLE PHOTOS AND DOCUMENT ANY AND ALL  DAMAGES. NO CLAIMS WILL EVEN BE LOOKED AT

 WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION. ANY BEFORE PICTURES YOU HAVE OF YOUR PROPERTY WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED AS WELL. THEY STRESSED THIS POINT SEVERAL TIMES THAT IT IS VITALLY INPORTANT

 TO DOCUMENT ALL DAMAGES WITH PHOTOS AND RECEIPTS FOR CLEAN UP.
 THE NEMA REPRESENTATIVE IN CHARGE OF DISASTER RECOVERY WILL  BE HOLDING MEETINGS AND THE VILLAGE WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE AT THESE MEETING TO GATHER ALL THE INFORMATION FOR

  PROPERTY OWNERS.
 THE VILLAGE WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING FOR ALL PROPERTY OWNERS ONCE THEY HAVE MORE INFOMATION TO SHARE.


03.19.2019 CHAIRMAN NIELSEN ATTENDED A MEETING WITH NEMA AND FEMA REPRESENTATIVES, DODGE COUNTY AND FREMONT OFFICIALS. HE WAS IN CONTACT WITH THE VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR OF THE CITY OF FREMONT AND VILLAGE PROPERTY OWNERS CAN CALL THEM WHEN  AND IF THEY NEED HELP WITH CLEAN UP. THE PHONE NUMBER IS 402-253-0448. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR NAME AND GET SOME VOLUTEERS TO YOU AS SOON AS THEY CAN.
